NACHSHON aims to design aesthetic and precise furniture, while implementing the understanding of materials, Technics and the human needs. He aspires to create furniture that last for generations and are part of a long-life cycle. Simultaneously, they can fit in any scenario and in different atmospheres. We balance between classic international design to our contemporary and local point of view, as well as combining traditional materials with new Technics and technologies. Marcel low back armchair is THE iconic model of French rattan. Very popular in French countryside in the early 1900s, it was sold at the time by peddlers who went from village to village. Light and robust, it was sometimes the only element of comfort in modest homes: to knit, smoke, listen to the radio, read by the fire, or chat under the apple tree… Comfortable, simple and robust, it is still trendy today. It can be used as an occasional chair, but its seat height allows it to be used also around a dining table.
