Rebecca Felcey is a French designer and an artistic director. This dual role gives her designs, a very creative approach and allow a rereading of the decoration.
Her work is nourished by the dialogue between the individual, the “idea” of the designer at the heart of any creative project, and the functionality of the object, its universality.
A recurring theme in Rebecca Felcey’s work is a search for formal and functional mastery regularly challenged by the “accident”. The latter becomes an integral part of the creative process. This “deconstruction” gives all its emotion to some of her furniture pieces.
